우리 나라의 전후 영화 아카이브에서 이승만 대통령을 각하로 모시고 숭배했던 시대의 모습이 담긴 영상과 함께 북진 통일을 추진 했던 모습, 애국의 명목하에 전쟁으로 살인을 거듭하는 군인의 모습, 각하의 만수무강을 축원에서 마스 게임의 대회에 참가하는 국민들의 모습 등을 번갈아 편집하여 우리한테 한국에서도 한국인이 지금은 혐오하는 북한에 종족적従属的이며 문명적 盲目으로 지도자를 숭배했던 시대가 있었음을 알려주는 영상 작품

Dae-Han News was the name of a propaganda film series made by the Korean government press from 1952 to 1994. During this time, Dae-Han News produced one film clip per week. Long Live His Majesty is a sampling of the Dae-Han News series. Long Live his Majesty is about the dictator RHEE Syngman who was the first president of South Korea. He appears in this documentary as a man whose every day is a birthday.
Kim Kyung-man
Born 1972 in Seoul, Kim Kyung-man now belongs to the filmmakers’ group, Independent Film Chung-Nyun. Works include We Serve in the National Security . . . (2002), Long Live His Majesty (2002) and Legally Cursed (2004). His films have been screened at many film festivals in Korea including Indieforum, Hundred Thousand Won Festival, Seoul Independent DOcumentary Film & Video Festival, and Seoul Human Rights Film Festival.
